📣 SAAP Earns IYT International Approval – A Milestone for Philippine Yacht Training
June 2017 – Cebu City, Philippines
Superyacht Academy in Asia and the Pacific Corp. (SAAP) proudly received its official training provider approval from International Yacht Training Worldwide (IYT) in June 2017. This marked a pivotal milestone in maritime education in the Philippines, establishing SAAP as the first IYT-accredited training center focused on the superyacht sector in the region.
With IYT's globally recognized standards, SAAP began offering certified programs such as:
IYT Superyacht Deck Crew
Small Powerboat & RIB Master
VHF-SRC Radio Communication
and other IYT module program and certification.
Since then, SAAP has trained and certified hundreds of Filipino crew members, opening doors to international superyacht careers and raising the bar for yacht training in Asia.
